Swimming Teachers

Swimming Teacher Laurel

Laurel Ledger – Owner , Administrator and Cupcake Baker (swimmers only)

First and foremost I love seeing the progress of a child from a non-swimmer  to a fully confident dolphin in the water. It is always a pleasure to hear of my swimmers achieving gold in their school galas.

Although spending many years teaching I have moved out of the water to run and administer my school but leave the swimmers in very capable hands of my qualified teachers but naughty children beware for the headmistress is always watching!

I have completed and qualified in the following swim courses.

  • SSA (Swim South Africa) “LTS” Level 1 Instructors Course
  • PSTCA (Professional Swim Teachers and Coaches Association) –Level 1
  • PBSTA(Professional Baby Swim Teachers Association) -Babies
  • PSTCA(Professional Swim Teachers and Coaches Association) –Level 2 Advanced Strokes

  • ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) Coaching of the Novice Swimmer
  • Ron Borrill – “Teaching advanced strokes”
